In this 2-hour walking tour, we're bringing the history of this property alive through incredible stories that are subtly hidden in plain sight. We're discovering the old school Flamingo including the legendary names and memories that made it what it is today.

The saga of the Flamingo is romantic, beautiful, chaotic, and rich. Meeting at Bugsy's Cabaret, the story begins. The property's history is deep entrenched with meaning and beautiful women. Guests dip their toes into the first of many recollections such as how the Flamingo manager used to stage gorgeous women in bathing suits out front sunbathing and by the pools to bait guests to join. The men had their own costumes as well; everyone, including janitors, once wore tuxedos.

Beautiful women have always been an influential force, as the hotel itself was named after Virginia Hill, the girlfriend of former owner Bugsy Siegel. She had flowing red hair and long legs, which earned her the nickname 'The Flamingo.' Bugsy faced all sorts of hurdles when opening the property. The investors lost $300,000 in the first week and ended up closing to reopen at a later date. On opening night, a cat and her new litter interrupted a three-story waterfall display. Thinking it was bad luck to move her, Bugsy

ordered the cats be left alone and the paused the showcase until the kittens were old enough to venture off. Those cats paid their debts by catching all the mice around the property and becoming a part of its history.

Bugsy was liked by the property cats but was untrustworthy of many people. His suite was reinforced with shipyard metal and bulletproof walls. There were also two staircases leading from the suite. One was a trapdoor in the bedroom that went down three levels to the basement. The other was a decoy, leading nowhere, that was meant to confuse potential assassins.

Magic moments are everywhere in Sin City, and the next stops on this tour are Bugsy's Cabaret and the Donny & Marie Theater. Everyone knows that these ladies know how to put on a show, and we're heading into the celebrity territory to see how it all comes together. You'll get a chance to sit in the very theater where Donny & Marie dazzle audiences every night and even walk on the stage.

Still reeling with excitement from the last stop the group heads towards the main kitchen and Center Cut Steakhouse to meet with the head chefs and baristas that consistently create delicious food and drink, so we can see first-hand how the magic happens. We have front row seats at the table to watch chef create a delicacy that everyone gets a taste of, while talking us through the favorite dishes served to legendary performers like the Rat Pack and Dean Martin.

We wrap-up the tour by walking through the beautiful pool areas and Flamingo habitat on the outdoor portion of this legendary property. You'll even get a chance to visit the exact spot of where the original lobby was located and the memorial to Bugsy himself. Finally, a server joins with a glass of bubbly for all and then a toast – to Vegas! Guests will leave informed and in high-spirits, with a heightened knowledge of the Flamingo's storied history.
