Bagatelle arrived in São Paulo in November 2012 located in the heart of Jardins, just off Oscar Freire street. The restaurant maintains the original European flare truthful to the Bagatelle brand, while infused with the always effervescent Brazilian culture. São Paulo was already iconic for being a city with a rich nightlife and full of gastronomic options, now with Bagatelle the city knows a combination of the two, much to the likes of its patrons. The architect Gilberto Criscuolo designed the room to look more intimate, much like the original Bagatelle, with the Parisian apartment feel, iconic bistrot energy, dimmed amber lighting and balanced the antique feel with some modern lofty elements like the contemporary paintings and exposed bricks and pillars. The terrace and front of the house were inspired by French villas and convincingly so, the clients take on the European spirit of enjoying late afternoons to the sound of great lounge music and the finest Champagnes, rosé wines that Provence has to offer and hurricane cocktails.
